General Responsibilities:
Ensure each customer receives outstanding service.
Greet customers as they enter the establishment.
Answer phone calls in a professional manner.
Deal with customers in a tactful and pleasant manner.
Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
Monitor checkout stations to ensure that you have adequate cash available and that they are staffed appropriately.
Accurately and efficiently ring on registers and maintain all cash at registers.
Maintain orderly appearance of register area and supplies stocked.
Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time by establishment manager.
Calculate total payments received during a time period, and reconcile this with total sales.
Compile and maintain non-monetary reports and records.
Keep periodic balance sheets of amounts and numbers of transactions.
Requirements:
Experience of minimum 2 years.
Food handlers permit required (carchi berde).
English is a must; bilingual is a big plus.
Education: MAVO level.
Knowledge of Aloha POS system a must.
Knowledge of Revel POS system a must.
A commitment to service, excellence and customer satisfaction.
Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
